The Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) 2026 will now take place at Royal Tulip, Kathmandu, Nepal, from 4–7 October, with 4 October as a Zero Day for pre-engagement and 5-7 October as the APrIGF main conference. All engagement and side-events organised in conjunction with APrIGF, including the Asia Pacific Youth Internet Governance Forum (yIGF) and the Nepal Youth IGF will take place at the same venue.
APrIGF 2026 is hosted by the Internet Governance Institute (IGI), with Internet Exchange Nepal (npIX) and Internet Society Nepal Chapter as co-hosts, organised by the Multi-Stakeholder Steering Group (MSG) and supported by the APrIGF Secretariat – DotAsia.
The event will be hybrid, welcoming participants onsite in Kathmandu, through local hubs, and virtually worldwide. More information on APrIGF participating Local Hubs and the Program Schedule can be found at 2026.aprigf.asia.
